We provide web design and development, website hosting, and website maintenance/upgrade services. We may also offer website templates and digital products such as ebooks or email courses.

2.2 Service Delivery

We will use reasonable efforts to deliver services in a professional and timely manner. Specific project timelines, deliverables, and expectations will be outlined in separate service agreements or statements of work provided to clients.

3. User Conduct

When using our website and services, you agree not to:

4.2 Client Projects

Upon full payment of all invoices, clients receive full ownership of the websites we create for them, subject to the following conditions:

• We retain the right to display the completed website in our portfolio for promotional purposes
• Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, we reserve the right to include a small footer credit stating “Developed by Gritty Publishing” with a link to our website

4.3 Website Templates and Digital Products

When purchasing a website template or digital product:

• You receive a non-exclusive license to use the template or product
• You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the template or product
• We retain the underlying intellectual property rights to the template or product

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Fees and Invoicing

All fees for our services and products will be clearly communicated before you make a purchase. We use Stripe as our payment processor for all billing purposes.

For custom web development projects:

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is typically required to initiate work
• Progress payments may be required for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon project completion before the website is launched

5.2 Refunds

For Services:

• Deposits are non-refundable
• If a project is canceled after work has begun, you will be billed for all work completed up to the cancellation date
• If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon services, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund at our discretion

For Digital Products:

• Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final
• If a significant technical issue prevents you from accessing or using the product, contact us for assistance or potential refund

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of our website or the content, information, or services provided.

6.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SIA “Gritty Publishing” shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us during the six (6) month period preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SIA “Gritty Publishing” and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that such parties may incur as a result of or arising from your violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website and services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Latvia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.
